Dr. Yugal K. Mishra is a distinguished Cardiac Surgeon and a pioneer in minimally invasive cardiac surgery in India, with over 44 years of experience.
He has performed more than 19,000 open-heart and robotic surgeries and founded the Robotic Cardiac Surgery Program at Manipal Hospitals.
Dr. Mishra is known for expertise in valve replacements, bypass surgery, complex congenital heart defect repair, aortic aneurysm and dissection surgeries, and ventricular assist device implantation.
He established the Payasuni Heart Valve Foundation to promote awareness and treatment for rheumatic heart diseases.
