About Dr. Vinod Raina
Dr. (Prof.) Vinod Raina MD (AIIMS), MRCP, FRCP, Ex. HOD, Department of Medical Oncology at AIIMS Delhi is one of India's foremost Medical Oncologists.
With over 40 years of experience, he is recognised as a powerhouse of clinical, academic, and research expertise in oncology.
He has personally performed around 250 stem cell transplants and led the largest stem cell transplant program in India at AIIMS from 2000 to 2013.
He has been Principal Investigator for nearly 50 major oncology research studies at AIIMS and is the Co-Founder of the INDOX network.
His students from AIIMS now hold senior oncology consultant positions in India and abroad.
Currently, he is the Chairman of Oncosciences – PAN Fortis and the Executive Director & Head of Medical Oncology & Haematology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon.
He performed India's first high-dose chemotherapy and peripheral blood stem cell transplant in 1994.
