About Dr. Mohit Sharma
Dr. Mohit Sharma is a distinguished Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over two decades of experience.
A graduate of SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and trained at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, Dr. Sharma specializes in applying microvascular techniques to solve complex reconstructive challenges.
He completed clinical fellowships in Hand and Burns Surgery from St. Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery in the UK, one of the largest and most advanced reconstructive surgery units globally.
Dr. Sharma and his team initiated India’s first Vascularised Composite Allotransplantation (VCA) program in 2015, achieving one of the largest single-centre experiences in Hand Transplantation worldwide.
He is actively involved in training and research, serving as a reviewer for multiple international journals, including the Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery.
His dedication to advancing reconstructive surgery education is evident through his creation of high-quality training videos for surgeons across the field.
